چکیده

The purpose of this study was to investigate the measurement invariance in Turkish version Satisfaction with Life Scale according gender among university students. A convenience sample 312 students (194 females) participated study. Multi-group confirmatory factorial analyses were performed examine invariance. results showed a first-order one-factor solution fitted sample. findings revealed that configural and metric invariances achieved respect gender. However, scalar could not be reached across When constrained parameter item four gender, then partial achieved. Ongoing analysis strict Establishing at least is important it permits comparison latent means between subgroups. Understanding how satisfaction life differs depending on culture context psychological well-being lead deeper conceptualization attribute. Moreover, emphasizes valid inferences are only possible well-developed psychometric tools.

A cross-national analysis of measurement invariance of the Satisfaction With Life Scale.

Measurement invariance of the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) was examined in probability samples of adults 50-79 years of age living in the United States, England, and Japan. Confirmatory factor analysis modeling was used to test for multigroup measurement invariance of a single-factor structure of the SWLS. Results support a single-factor structure of the SWLS across the 3 countries, with...
